More people looking for a new dog or puppy should be aware of rescue groups and should seek a new companion through one of these groups or a shelter. I recently rescued a Chinese Crested and she was the best dog I've ever owned. She had been severely neglected, but when she came around, it was like she KNEW I had rescued her. She seemed so grateful to finally have a loving home. Adopting an adult dog is the best way to go. There are a lot of benefits in adopting and adult dog. I live in nevada and am working with the local newspapers and rescue organizations to educate the public about buying from pet stores/puppy mills. There is actually goingto be a protest in front of a pet store who sells puppy mill puppies this coming Sunday in Carson City, Nevada. To everybody: keep up the good work and hopefully eventually the hunte corp can be shut down! Don't support puppy mills by buying from these pet stores! We need to help these dogs!
