Dogster Barks in To Ask for Help for Lost and Found Dog Rescue
Thanks to Cindee, furmom to Dogsters Charlee, Barnee, Winston, Louee, and Rylee. The Lost and Found Dog Rescue is in Delaware. If any Dogsters have also adopted dogs through this group, now would be a good time to show them how much your furbaby means to you!
Don’t know if this is the type of thing you include in your site, but I became aware that the rescue group from which we adopted two of our three dogs (they’re on Dogster as Louee and Rylee, along with their canine brother Charlee) is in danger of having to close down due to finances. Was wondering if it would be appropriate to post a link to their website? They are a legitimate non-profit; a small rescue group which has saved almost 300 dogs in their just under 3 years’ existence.Thanks in advance for your consideration. I personally don’t have any formal ties to the organization… just am touched by the work they do in rescuing and socializing / fostering the dogs & thoroughly screening potential adopters before adopting them out.

Our organization (Legacy Boxer Rescue http://www.savetheboxers.com) is about the same age, and has saved about the same number of dogs. It is hard work, and I hope that Lost and Found makes it.
Hi…I just wanted to add that we adopted Molly last week from Lost and Found Dog Rescue and we love her so much!! She is such a good girl and she fits right in with our other dogs!! Thanks so very much to Marleen at Lost and Found for saving her!! I just recently became a volunteer for this group and I hope and pray that they are able to stay afloat. Marleen is an angel for the dogs!! Merry Christmas!!!
Just wanted to let you know, I rescued a dog 800 miles from home, who was thrown out of a car. She was very pregnant and I did not know WHAT to do. I met the lady at Lost and Found at my vet’s office and she completely walked me thru everything from birth of the pups, to weaning, and placed all in good, loving, wonderfully screened homes. Lost and Found is full of love and integrity and they care most about the dogs and what’s good for them. If you cannot adopt at this time, please consider a donation to save a life! These people are the best there are! They deserve your support! Thanks Marleen & everyone at Lost and Found! You saved 8 dogs and helped me through it all!
