Alabama Newfie Abducted and Murdered, Guilty Fined $400
If you think our four-legged friends have any thing like legal protection in our society, think again. Case in point, Kahn, the three-year-old Newfoundland who lived in Wetumpka, Alabama was abducted by dog fighters, thrown in with pit bulls being trained to fight in barbaric dog fights, mutilated, tortured and ultimately murdered. The misbegotten sociopathic short ends of the gene pool only got fined $400!!!
There is a petition you can sign at The Petition Site. You would think there would be more we could do to prevent this kind of atrocity from happening again, wouldn’t you?
So what are your ideas? Short of violence, what can you suggest to stop the violence against our furry friends and family members? Bark out!
Thank you so much for posting a link to this petition. I have shared this information with the anti-BSL group here on dogster. Hopefully our dogsters will work together so we can collect enough signatures to impose a stricter, more appropriate punishment for these abusive people.

Absolutely unbelievable! Why do these people still get to walk around? In my dog’s Joy case, her murdered did not get punished either. However, I believe, in the end Justice will prevail!! Because I am a firm believer that the LORD will judge them very harshly on Judgement Day. Abuse is Abuse!! For Humans and Animals!! I’m afraid that in the case of kahn or mooie, I’d have to practice “Eye for an Eye” and go to prison. I believe these sick people need to have done to them what they have done to innocent animals who can’t speak for themselves. Let them know exactly how it feels. But, I am not that demented, so I have to ask God to seek justice on my behalf. If I would’ve had the gutts, I wouldve beaten that man and hung him on his own door for all to see! We live in a world where people don’t even care about people (some) so why in the world would the care about animals? It truly makes me ill that our law makers will not enforce the laws we do have and make them even tougher!! What, they don’t have pets of their own? Would they like these things to happen to their animals? What would they do? They’d probably BUY justice, because they can afford it.

Thanks for the question about getting an RSS feed. There are two columns to the right of this area. There is a box at the bottom of the column closest to the posting area. That box is titled “Get DogBlog To Go.” At the bottom of that box is a link to “RSS.” That link will take you to a page where you can sign up to get the RSS feed.
